On October 1st, 2012, we created the Sustainability Council...
...and tasked them with defining and updating our sustainability policy and linking it with the company’s overall corporate strategy. One of the Council’s first key actions was to join the UN Global Compact, which we now fully support and promote. The Council also coordinated the development of Constellium’s first sustainability roadmap, which included objectives and targets in key four areas – Governance, People, Operations and Products.
Our sustainability approach
Constellium has developed a company-wide Sustainability Roadmap. As part of defining key economic, environmental and social objectives and indicators, the company’s Sustainability Council has determined targets, which were endorsed by Constellium’s Executive Committee. The reporting of these objectives and targets, notably in this document, covers our key areas of impact:
Governance, People, Operations, and Products.
The deadlines for reaching targets varied, but all shared a common baseline starting in 2010.
